After registration, complete your profile for the best personalized experience:
- Students: Add your grade/class, board (CBSE/ICSE/State), preferred subjects, and learning goals
- Parents: Link your child's account to access progress monitoring
- Faculty: Add your qualifications, subjects taught, and institution affiliation
Navigating the Platform
- Dashboard: Personalized home with quick access to courses, progress, and AI tutor
- Courses: Browse and enroll in available courses
- AI Tutor: Access 24/7 AI-powered tutoring and doubt resolution
- Analytics: View your learning progress and areas for improvement
- Settings: Manage account, notifications, and preferences
For Students
Enrolling in Courses
1Browse the course catalog from your Dashboard or the Courses section
2Filter by subject, grade, board, or difficulty level
3Click on a course to view details, syllabus, and pricing
4Click "Enroll Now" (free) or "Subscribe" (premium)
5Start learning immediately!
Using the AI Tutor
- Open the AI Tutor from your Dashboard or within any course
- Type or speak your question
- The AI will provide step-by-step explanations tailored to your level
- Ask follow-up questions for deeper understanding
- The AI adapts to your learning style over time
Pro tip: Be specific — mention the subject, topic, and grade level to get more accurate, curriculum-aligned answers.
Tracking Your Progress
- Dashboard Analytics: Overall progress, streaks, and time spent
- Subject-wise Performance: Grades and scores per subject
- AI Insights: Personalized recommendations based on your patterns
- Weekly Reports: Automated progress summaries delivered to your inbox
For Parents
Linking Your Child's Account
1Log in to your Parent account
2Go to Settings → Family → Add Child
3Enter your child's registered email or invite code
4Your child receives a confirmation request
5Once accepted, access their full progress dashboard
Monitoring Progress
Your Parent Dashboard gives you real-time visibility:
- Real-time Activity: See what your child is currently studying
- Performance Reports: Weekly and monthly progress breakdowns
- Engagement Metrics: Time spent, sessions completed, attention scores
- AI Recommendations: Suggestions for areas needing more focus
- Notifications: Alerts for milestones, low engagement, or missed sessions
Account Management
Changing Your Password
1Go to Settings → Security
2Click "Change Password"
3Enter your current password
4Enter and confirm your new password
5Click "Save"
Deleting Your Account
1Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account
2Read the information about what data will be deleted
3Enter your password to confirm
4Your account and data will be permanently deleted within 30 days
Alternatively, email info@capgenx.com with your deletion request and we'll handle it promptly.
Troubleshooting
Platform Not Loading
- Check your internet connection
- Clear browser cache — Ctrl + Shift + Delete
- Try incognito / private browsing mode
- Disable ad blockers and browser extensions
- Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
- Update your browser to the latest version
Video Playback Issues
- Minimum recommended speed: 2 Mbps for SD, 5 Mbps for HD
- Update your browser to the latest version
- Disable hardware acceleration in browser settings
- Clear browser cache and cookies
- Try lowering video quality in the player settings
